Lauryn Atkinson


Lauryn is owner and program director of Jersey Pride Cheerleading. As a child, she was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader. Lauryn began her coaching career as a gymnastics instructor and began coaching cheerleading 20 years ago. She coached and choreographed for the highly successful cheerleading program at Washington Township High School for many years.  She led the program to numerous championship titles during her tenure and became one of the strongest programs in the state of NJ. Lauryn continues to be a part of Washington Township Cheerleading competition team. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education and Sociology. Lauryn was a middle school teacher for 8 years until she and her husband Kevin started their own family. Daughters Lily and Londyn are now "continuing the tradition" and cheer for JP Belles.

Kevin Atkinson


Kevin is owner of Jersey Pride Cheerleading. Kevin has been side-by-side with Lauryn for the past 20 years. He has a B.S. in Human Resource Management and a Psychology minor. Since 2001, Kevin has worked in human resources and most recently as an operations manager in Direct Store Delivery (DSD). Since Jersey Pride Cheer Gym’s inception, Kevin has assisted with various programs in the gym. 

Crystal Giorla


Crystal began coaching at Jersey Pride in 2008.  She started cheerleading at the age of 4.  Crystal cheered for both her high school and all-star teams.  She went on to attend Camden County College and studied Medical Technology.  Crystal coaches many of our teams at Jersey Pride. Crystal's daughter, Lyla, is also a part of Jersey Pride and cheers for the Belles! 

Zeke Jenkins


Zeke has been coaching at Jersey Pride since 2008.  He started cheerleading at the age of 7 and continued with all-stars until the age of 22.  With 13 years of coaching experience, Zeke coaches all levels of tumbling classes and many of our teams at Jersey Pride.

Lindsey McGrath

Lindsey began coaching at Jersey Pride in 2006.  She started cheering at age 6 and shortly after began gymnastics. Lindsey competed on the WTHS Gymnastics team from 1996-1999 and Cheerleading from 1997-2000. She was chosen for the All-Girl cheerleading team at Rutgers University from 2000-2004. By her senior year, the team had gone on to place 2nd at NCA College Nationals. Throughout college she taught at UCA cheer camps and judged many competitions. Lindsey graduated from Rutgers in 2004 with a Communication degree . Lindsey is currently working as an executive at Allied Document Solutions and Services. She coaches teams and instructs tumbling classes at Jersey Pride. 


Jessica Parsons

Jessica began coaching with Jersey Pride in 2007.  She started cheerleading when she was eight years old. She continued cheering through high school at the varsity and all-star levels.  Jessica later cheered for La Salle University’s football, basketball, and competition squads. During college she began coaching all-star cheerleading. Jessica graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Regular and Special Education. She is currently teaching at Bellmawr Park Elementary School. Coach Jessy's daughter, Avarie, is now part of JP and cheers for the Belles!

Dina Talvacchio


Dina started coaching at Jersey Pride in 2010.  Dina is a former high school and all-star cheerleader.  She started coaching all-stars in 2000.  Dina has been a preschool teacher since 2001. Dina is a team coach at JP!

John Jefferies


John has been coaching at Jersey Pride since 2006.  John began gymnastics at the age of 6.  He continued gymnastics through college and was a member of the Temple University gymnastics team for 3 years.  He graduated from Temple in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology.  John teaches all levels of tumbling classes and team tumbling. 

Taylor Ribecchi

Taylor has been a member of Jersey Pride since it's inaugural season in 2006. She has been part of our coaching and office staff since 2014. She started all-star cheerleading at age 7. Taylor was a member of our Worlds team, Liberty, and competed at the Cheerleading Worlds with the team in 2013 and 2014. She graduated from Bishop Eustace in 2013 and went on to earn her degree from Widener University in 2018. She is currently on the USASF Northeast Regional Advisory Board. Taylor is a team coach at Jersey Pride and also instructs 8 & Under tumble. Her favorite aspects of cheerleading are stunting and PERFORMANCE!


Victoria LaRocca


Victoria began coaching Baby Belles at Jersey Pride in 2012 and is also part of our office staff. Prior to coaching, Victoria has been a competitive cheerleader for 12 years, 8 of them being at Jersey Pride. Victoria cheered at Washington township High School varsity team for 4 years. In her opinion, cheerleading is not always about the trophies and the jackets. Victoria truly believes that it's about loving the sport and embracing the positivity that comes out of it.  Victoria is currently enrolled in Rutgers University's nursing program.
